Anyone ever heard of nature vs. nurture? imo our attitudes and experiences with porn are just one example of how women and men are SOCIALIZED differently. It's not our biology that makes us more or less inclined to be interested in porn, it's what we're taught is ours to look at or isn't, what we're taught is natural for us to look at and what isn't. There are women who get off on porn, women who don't, men who get off on it, some that don't and all sorts of in-betweens of course, it's really not that simple! I'm no expert on this topic, but I just don't buy those lines, because there is no biological proof that supports the "men NEED porn" line of thinking. It's super important to match yourself up with people who mesh well with you, especially all matters sexual, things often left unsaid. If this is something that truly bothers you, talk to your SO about it and don't just sweep it under the rug. Maybe both of you could identify what you do or don't like about porn that help you in deciding how important it is (or not) for your partner to not use porn. If you don't talk about it eventually, you end up unnecessarily hurt. There is information available on the net on this topic. Jensen has some great things on the topic, and there are great books out both making arguments for and against -I promise you are not the only one thinking about this :)
